Section 7.12

Subd 1.  UNREASONABLE ACCELERATION.

 

No person shall start or accelerate any motor vehicle at a rate that is greater than reasonable or prudent on any public or private way within the City.  Prima-facie evidence of such unnecessary exhibition of speed shall be squealing or screeching sounds emitted by the tires or the throwing of sand or gravel by the tires of said vehicle or both. 

 

Subd 2.  PENALTY.

 

It is a misdemeanor for any person to violate any of the provisions of this Section.
